Education
At Simpson Jewelers, every piece of jewelry undergoes intensive manufacturing and assembly processes to ensure impeccable quality and design. From selecting the finest materials to crafting each detail with precision, our employees bring expertise and passion to every creation. Our team consists of employees who have earned the GIA Graduate Gemologist diploma, demonstrating their expertise in diamonds and colored stones through advanced gemological training. They excel in accurately identifying and grading these gems, guiding you through our collections with deep knowledge and understanding.
Diamonds
At our shop, we are committed to offering only natural diamonds that excel in clarity, ensuring they are made of clear material. Each diamond is cut to eliminate any trace of gray, brown, or haze, resulting in an unparalleled sparkle, fire, and brilliance. This attention to detail ensures that our jewelry appears vibrant, alive, and captivating when adorned. We meticulously select diamonds to ensure uniformity across every piece, choosing stones that complement each other. When set, our diamonds sparkle harmoniously, enhancing the allure and excitement of wearing our jewelry.
Earrings
At our store, we prioritize the comfort and satisfaction of the wearer of our earrings. We carefully ensure that each pair we offer is designed to be gentle on the ear, providing a comfortable fit that allows for frequent and extended wear. We pay attention to the proportions and angles of our earrings, ensuring they are positioned correctly on the ears to enhance the individual's appearance effectively. Whether you choose delicate studs or elegant danglers, our commitment to quality ensures that every pair complements your style effortlessly.
Necklaces
Creating the perfect necklace involves a significant amount of effort, time, and precise engineering. Each piece is crafted to sit flawlessly on your neck, designed to maintain its position without slipping forward or inward. This requires an understanding of how gravity influences the angles, connections, and assembly of the necklace. By deliberately considering these elements, we ensure our necklaces enhance your neckline while providing a secure, comfortable fit. This dedication to precision guarantees each necklace embodies aesthetic elegance and practical functionality, making it a timeless addition to your jewelry collection.
Bracelets
When constructing bracelets, we diligently consider how they will sit on your wrist and move with you. We carefully choose the appropriate rivets and hinges to ensure the links flow freely while worn, without snagging or creating discomfort. Our focus is on designing bracelets that are not only stylish but also comfortable and safe against your skin. This thoughtful approach guarantees that each bracelet provides a smooth, effortless fit and enhances your style with every movement.
Rings
When it comes to rings, ensuring a perfect fit involves attentive skills and consideration. Often, rings need to be remade to ensure a smooth, edge-free wearing experience that sits comfortably on your finger while reflecting your personal style. It's crucial to assess how a ring will wear over time—its durability for everyday wear and whether it's prone to catching on clothing or other items. Our commitment to quality ensures each ring not only meets aesthetic standards but also offers practical comfort and longevity. Making it a cherished piece you'll enjoy wearing every day and one that will become an heirloom.
The Four Cs Unveiled
Our commitment to selecting only the most exclusive diamond jewelry is embodied in the Four Cs – Carat, Cut, Color, and Clarity.
Cut
The precision of a diamond's cut is crucial for maximizing its "fire" and "brilliance". This is the only factor among the Four Cs that can be controlled by human craftsmanship.
Color
While most gem-quality diamonds appear colorless to the naked eye, subtle variations exist. Diamond color results from traces of other elements mixed with carbon during formation.
Clarity
Natural inclusions, like crystals and feathers, form within diamonds during their deep earth formation. Clarity is assessed based on the position, color, number, nature, and size of these inclusions.
Carat Weight
Diamond weight, measured in carats, is the simplest factor determining its value. One carat equals 1/5 of a gram or 1/142 of an ounce, divided into 100 points. As weight increases, so does the price per carat geometrically.
